WELCOME
Egyptian- Italian relations are amongst the strongest bilateral ties in the Mediterranean; due to the fact that both countries are adopting similar economic policies and utilizing a multilateral approach in all their dealings. This explains the eagerness of the two countries in maintaining and expanding their partnership agreements which are built on mutual understanding.
This special relationship goes beyond the economic sphere to encompass the political, geographical and security spheres. Italy has historically, and presently, stood beside Egypt and supported its position as a key actor in the region.
